Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the actress. Alexandra is well known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. The projects comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as along with the French history mini-series Napoleon. Additionally, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
